Hitting The Halfway Mark of 2017

20 August, 2017 Matt

Can you believe that 2017 is halfway through already? It’s flying by one great concert at a time and thankfully there’s still plenty to come during the second half.

I told myself that I was going to slow down a bit this year and cover fewer concerts but you know, it looks as though I just can’t help myself.

This blog is starting to fill up nicely as I go back and add photos from previous years, but I thought this might be an excellent opportunity to have a look back at the last six months.

Some highlights so far have been covering shows at the Melbourne Zoo for the first time, Green Day, the Groovin The Moo festival in Bendigo, Twenty One Pilots and the legendary Patti Smith to name a few.

There have also been some solid shots from the support bands as well which I haven’t been posting (yet), so I’ve thrown a few of them in here as well.

So far, my 2017 has been dominated by Australian musicians, and I’ve loved ticking some legends off from my list but the best part by far has been the opportunities to work for, and with some of the craziest, most talented people in the country.

I’m looking forward to finishing off the year in spectacular fashion, and I can’t wait to share it with you here.
