Getting Off To A Slow Start

I was out and about in the city last weekend with Sandra and while she was catching up with some friends, I wanted to take the opportunity to mess around with a camera. The problem was, I just wasn’t seeing the shots, to begin with, so I decided not to force it.

Instead, I put my camera back in the bag and just walked around, drank some coffee and enjoyed the sunshine.

Then, I turned a corner and saw the shot below, and it hit me like a truck. Once I started seeing the photos, I couldn’t stop seeing them.

Again, I wrote about this kind of thing a while ago in another post which you can read here.

Sometimes I just have to be patient and let the photos find me, and it can be frustrating, but I do love the rush when it does finally happen.

Canon 1200D & 50mm f/1.8

All of these pictures were taken with my little Canon 1200D and a 50mm f/1.8 lens.
