It doesn’t happen very often but every now and then the star align and you just seem to find yourself right where you want to be, like hanging out backstage with Clint Boge.
Clint has been one of my favorite vocalists for a long time now and I was lucky enough to spend a little time with him back stage before his show at the Evelyn Hotel so I could take his picture.
People have said that you should never meet your heroes but I found that Clint was just a very cool, down to earth kind of guy who was very appreciative to be doing what he loves.
These portraits were taken backstage in a very small, dimly lit room so I used my trusty Canon Speedlight bounced off the roof and back wall.
Keep it simple right? I’m really happy with the results, Clint was happy and right after he signed a few things for me and we shook hands he grabbed his guitar and stepped on stage.
What a fantastic night.
